1. Information we do not collect

The Debt Freedom Calculator performs all calculations locally in your browser. The debts, balances, interest rates, and payment amounts you enter are not sent to, received by, or stored on any server we control.

2. Local storage on your device

To make the tool more convenient, the calculator may save the figures you enter in your browser's local storage so your inputs persist if you refresh or return later. This data stays on your own device, is never uploaded, and can be cleared at any time using the in-app "Reset" button or by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic — for example, total page views and general, non-identifying information such as referrer, browser, and country. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. It is never sent the debt figures you enter (those never leave your browser), and we do not sell or share any data. Because no personal data or cookies are involved, no consent banner is required.

4. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites; please review their policies separately.

5. Children's privacy

This tool is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of any data saved locally in your browser.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
